హిమకుంద మృణాళాభం దైత్యానాం పరమం గురుమ్ ।సర్వశాస్త్ర ప్రవక్తారం భార్గవం ప్రణమామ్యహమ్ ॥
Hima-kunda mṛṇālābhaṁ daityānāṁ paramaṁ gurum | Sarva-śāstra pravaktāraṁ bhārgavaṁ praṇamāmy aham ||
MEANING
I bow to Bhargava (Shukra), white as snow, jasmine and the lotus stalk, the supreme preceptor of the demons and the expounder of all scriptures.
మంచు, కుంద పువ్వు, తామర తూడు వంటి తెల్లని వర్ణం కలిగినవాడు, దైత్యులకు పరమ గురువు, సమస్త శాస్త్రాలను బోధించేవాడు అయిన భార్గవుడు (శుక్రుడు)కి నమస్కారం.
